Rates and Insurance

Session Fees

Individual therapy: $175 per 50 minute session

Sessions are typically scheduled weekly or biweekly, depending on your needs and availability.

*I offer a limited number of reduced fee slots to help support access to care. Availability is limited. If cost is a concern, you are welcome to reach out and ask about current reduced fee options.

Superbills

While I do not bill insurance directly, I can provide a superbill upon request. A superbill is a receipt you may submit to your insurance company for possible out of network reimbursement, depending on your plan.

Coverage varies, so I recommend contacting your insurance provider directly to learn more about your out of network benefits.

Good Faith Estimate

Under the No Surprises Act, clients who are not using insurance or who are paying privately have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of expected charges for services.

A Good Faith Estimate outlines the anticipated cost of therapy services based on the information available at the time. This estimate is provided prior to beginning services and upon request.

You have the right to dispute charges if your actual bill exceeds the Good Faith Estimate by 400 dollars or more. More information about your rights under this law is available at www.cms.gov/nosurprises.

Insurance and Private Pay

At this time, I am not in network with insurance plans and operate as a private pay practice.

Many clients choose private pay therapy for the flexibility, privacy, and quality of care it allows. Working outside of insurance means:

  • No diagnosis is required to begin therapy

  • Therapy goals are guided by your needs rather than insurance criteria

  • Sessions are not limited by insurance requirements

  • Your mental health information is not shared with insurance companies

For many people, private pay therapy allows for a more personalized and collaborative experience.
